It looks to be a 15-91, i would say no. I would start at $50. That being said there are a lot of maintenance items to be aware of with potted motor machines.

15-91's are the best of the older Singers IMHO. I would go $100. You can find good ones for less... But they are few and far between...

I have had three, I still have one if someone is interested. Here in the Charlotte area they are common. I prefer the 1960 tan Singers or my Pfaff 360.

I got my 15-91 for $20, my 403 for free, and my vintage Kenmore for free as well. All in cabinets and only needing clean and lube ... I say keep looking.

I got my Singer Quantum 2623 for the tiny sum of two new machines I bought it new for my lovely wife years ago. When she wanted a new Bernina for quilting, I got her former favorite workhorse.

I'm still getting to know her. But so far she seems to be a good one.

You people are all a bad influence

Just picked up sewing machine number 3, a White 2134 for $20CDN from the Sally Anne thrift. As best as I can tell works super awesome.

Will go well with the Singer 127 treadle and 401J that reside in the stable currently
