oh BTW, what is the lowest temp anyone has gotten to with the Speer Snugfit or Peapod. I know Ed rates them conservatively

I've had mine down to 21 degrees... Had a 25 degree bag for a TQ, and a short sleeve Tshirt and zipoffs with a pair of socks.... Stayed nice and toasty....

I used my Snugfit + z rest pad + 15F bag at Mt Rogers Hang last year down to 10F. Girlfriend used it into the 30s and was warm

It's causing me physical pain not to pull the trigger on a peapod though ... this sale is making me weak

Pea Pod, ~10-11F, with a space blanket in the bottom, my usual light weight warm clothing, and a summer bag as quilt on top. All of this was with a Speer hammock. I did fine, but I was wondering how much lower I could go and still be adequately warm on the bottom. Probably not much lower without having to add something else down there. Of course, it is easy to add stuff if you have something you are not wearing to bed.

Without a TQ, using a vest and my usual warm clothing to fill in gaps on top, in a Claytor No Net, 27*F. Again OK, but a few degrees colder and I probably would have been a little cold on top.

My will power was too weak. I had my wife order Ed's Winter Tarp over the weekend for Christmas-ish for me.

Ed was awesome on the turnaround time between order and shipping!

I took my Snugfit with a zero degree sleeping bag for a top down to about 9-15F on this trip: Pictures.

I woke up once or twice each night to wiggle my toes, but other than that I was just fine.
