Has anyone thought about group food? Or is this a bring your own kind of thing?

We have done a group meal for Saturday night. In recent trips Commander Hotlips and Kingsford have lead the way for food. Even if they are coming, I bet it would be nice for them to not have to waste relaxing time on cooking for all of us.

So if a group meal is needed, then lets just make it pot luck. If you make it and make it well bring enough for as many people you think you can feed. If you need help, like I will cook some pork butts if someone will bring buns and sides, then put it out there. If we feel like a theme, one year we did italian and another mexican, then through it out there what you would like and can bring.

We usually get people making some random items for different times, like maybe someone cooks up some sausage for a late night snack, or even makes a breakfast item. We usually do well eating at these hangs.

Oh and The TallPaul's bring chocolate cake. SilverPalms Hawaiian Punch and so on.

Yates--save me a tree and some coffee. As I'm learning camping all over again--certain levels of knowledge evade me. Maybe I can install some map apps with TallPaul's knowledge--and I want to learn to burn an alcohol stove and filter water. In turn I will drink up all your coffee and tell stories so good you'd think they are lies.

Hey folks, since I haven't been to one of these since the great flood, I'm thinking about trying to schedule this one. Might have to break down and put rings on my quad, always wanted to hit the trails out there with an atv.

I'll get some wood. Is midday Friday good to have Outpost deliver? Or Thursday afternoon?

I will be glad to assist with alcohol stove use. Oh yeah, keep the stories coming.
If you prepare for failure you will probably succeed.
