"Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs. I am haunted by waters.”

Okay fellow hangers, this is my first hang attending. I was supposed to work the whole weekend but was able to ask off for Sat & Sun. I'll just do one night coming up Sat Morning. See yall and hope to meet some new friends and learn lots of new hammock tricks.

Mooseman, one great hammock trick, is if you have calf ridge line making sleep no fun--is while on back in hammock, draw both knees toward stomach and dig in your feet as close to butt as can--and then straighten knees and hips, pushing all wrinkles away from middle of hammock toward the edge past your feet. I thought of this myself and talked with a veteran hammocker at Grayson--and he does the same move before I ever thought of it.
You can also pull on fabric above and to the side away from the middle to remove calf ridge on other side. Not a good explanation--a really cool trick.

Well, I'm out. House got sold this past Friday and I'll be moving to SC that weekend. Bummer!

Mooseman, I hope to see you at Yates. Since it can be cold before sunrise--you will need under insulation, either pad or underquilt or both.
