Simply Light Designs.....Jared must not sleep!

Just had to tell about my most recent purchase from Jared at SLD. I wanted to try a hammock made from the Robic 1.0 material so I decided to order a Streamliner. I emailed Jared a couple questions at close to 9:00pm. I immediately got a response from him answering my questions so I placed my order. This morning at about 8:30am I got an email that my order had shipped! Less than 12 hrs. turnaround is amazing for a custom item, he must not sleep.

It kinda makes me feel guilty whenever I order from him, am I keeping him up all night, making him miss time with his family? I sure hope not.

Just want to give a big thanks to him, I will continue to support and recommend him.

Jared works in "back to the future mode". He knew you wanted this a few days before you ordered it.

Agreed. I love this guy. He must be a Cylon, though...

LOL That reminds me of a property called Ninja Burger, which was a fictitious fast food chain that purportedly hired ninja to deliver your hamburgers. Their ersatz promotional material read something like "...And when you call us with your order, there's no need to give us your credit card number. Because we already have it. Because we're ninja..."

Seriously, though, Jared's speed amazes me as much as his craftsmanship, and both are much appreciated. He seems like a very nice guy, and I like the way he chooses to do business, which is why I will continue to buy from him again and again.

Yeah, I think he knew I wanted it before I knew I wanted it.

I had the same recent experience with Jared. I'm also interested in your eval of the Robic 1.0. I just purchased some from RSBTR for a diy, but haven't made it yet.

I have a SL robic 11 foot from jared and i love it. Not too much stretch at 220 lbs and soft as can be. Just needs to be treated like an UL hammock

Will definitely be treated as an UL, I have a 1.0 Netty now which is my most used hammock and its been great, I'm 175 lbs.

Curious, do you know the finished weight of your hammock and is it the full width of the Robic XL? I didn't want the extra width so had him cut it to 60".

Mine is finished width 62. 60 is a good compromise as well. Started doing 64 finished width but I like 60-62 better
