Nice report, enjoyed the photos and video. Looks like the views, wildlife, and fish rewarded you for those climbs. Wish it was toque weather down here!

Nice trip report. I miss the mountains. I was just looking at New Leaf flights, $200 return to Edmonton in September, half the price of WestJet.
so beautiful...
Looks like a great trip to a beautiful area. The mountain goats were really cool! Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful area. I realize you were hiking during the week - is that why you encountered so few other hikers?
Cheers
Looks like a great trip. Nice to find a circuit route in the Rockies. Any more trips planned this summer?
Next time you'll have to show off some of your gear for us gear junkies. Looks like you were using one of those Hydrapak bottles that MEC sells. How did you find it?
Looks pretty squatchy

Some amazing country you got up there to hang and hike in. Truly)))))))

The campsites only had 4 tent pads each. Of course I was able to stray a bit into the trees. Each site was full most nights. The area I was in is a less travelled area as well so fewer people overall.
Hopefully out at least twice more, probably to Jasper. I'd like to paddle down Maligne Lake to Coronet Creek before the lake freezes. I didn't mind the Hydrapack. No real weight savings over a Gatorade bottle but a bit more difficult to drink from when it's not full.
Never saw anything resembling a squatch! But I smelled like one when I was done.
