Has anyone used this webbing? How does it compare to the webbing offered by the cottage vendors. This seems very heavy or at least it would be heavier with the 4500lb rating compared to the 1500 or 3000lb that is offered by other vendors.
Would it work with cinch buckles? The price is great but it would need to work with the hardware to be worth it for our scouts.

Ask you local tree arborist where they get their stuff. I can get 180' spools of zing it locally for $13. They also have amsteel or some variant of it but I haven't needed any lately.

If I just crunched the numbers right, the price per foot isn't that great. For 25 ft, it would be $10.50.

I purchased some purple, yellow and black I was concerned the 4500# rated stuff would be to thick, but it worked fine in my cinch buckles.
    for comparison:
The purple 3500# is 1.28mm thick
The black and yellow 4500# is 1.68mm thick

My 1" polyester from strap works is 1.55 thick
1" Seatbelt webbing from strap works 1.45mm thick
1" polyester webbing bought from a HF vendor 1.26mm thick

And how much can you get Amsteel for? Cincy isn't that far.
