Phantom Grappler--keyboard cowboy, did not follow directions and tried to go wrong way on Cat Gap Loop. By the time I got to the Enchanted Forest-best trees spaced perfectly-it was too late to go back and get my food. In the morning DimJim heated water for me and Ashley gave me her scrambled eggs. I thank you all for your kindness and great stories. I'm gonna get a water filter and small cook stove. John Rock schooled me-I might try to lighten my gear. The Intimidator has an interesting suspension and FireinmyBones set up while chatting with me in under 2 minutes without being in a hurry.
Thanks to Tacoma and Foxpoop for the best hang ever! I was out of my league but had a great time listening to your stories. Thank you Pyro and Tacoma for walking the trail and telling great tall tales. Pappy Amos has great stories as well as Detail Man and Jeremy. This is a must hang! Sean and Candice told more tale tales and Bush never stopped talking. Half Full came in and livened us up talking about AT hikes and Trail Magic. I was set up next to Aaron and Foxpoop and Ashley and Intimidator- who has a great speaking voice. I thank you all for your camaraderie and kindness.

It was a pleasure to met each and every one of you. What a great bunch of folks! A special thanks goes out to Foxpoop and Tacoma96 for putting all this together. The experience of going to the top of Cedar Rock is one that will not soon be forgotten. I enjoyed the comradery, you guys rock.

Another great JRH in the books! Special thanks to foxpoop and tacoma for co-hosting. Special shout out to foxpoop for dragging that heavy cooler up the hill, and for Intimidator for watching him do it.
Huge thanks to tacoma for letting me thumb a ride with him, and for saving me from tying off to a dead tree! (remember always look up! I'm looking at you boys scouts...) Slept through the scout invasion, despite my hammock being setup ~15 feet from the trail they came in on. Glad it wasn't a bear!
It was great to see so many friendly folks who've I've met before, and also to meet some new folks who were welcomed to the group with the patented friendly HF style. I love these hike-in hangs, and I'm already looking forward to the next one! Nothing like wilderness showers and potty trowels.
I've posted a few photos on Google Photos if you want to have a look.
Almost forgot to post a couple of videos of the runners.
