    Dutch VS. Dream Dangerbird.

Ok, Yes i'm new to the hammocking world and i'm trying to do all of my research but i can't find any direct comparisons between a Dutchware 11' double layer hammock and a Dream Dangerbird. The setups that I've spec'd out are about $100 difference. I have a full Yukon Outfitters bug-net already. But i can't seem to make up my mind and would love some experienced input from the forum.

    Hi MrPickl,
I'm afraid I can't help much with a comparison, but here's a video we shot recently showing a custom net only version of the DangerBird hammock. Hope this helps with your decision.

Thanks Papa I actually have seen the video , it's what turned me onto your product. I just wish i could make up my mind. Both would be a significant improvement to my current $20 Amazon impulse purchase. At 5'11" 190lbs. i'm sure something longer is just in order.

I have four dutch hammocks and two or three DYI hammocks a couple mass produced hammocks and when I set up my Dream Hammock Dangerbird the first time I was impressed at the little things that are just done perfectly a dream hammock is really a sum of the parts done right. I sleep just fine in my DYI and Dutch hammocks and really like the DL dutch I picked up just after he released them. Tough question to answer because it’s a hang your own hang kinda thing.

Unfair question. That is like asking, "Brisket? Or Ribs?" The only way you will know is to buy both and sell one. There are ready buyers for either on here.

Which leads me to a more important question.... and perhaps the Golden Question. How to justify to a wife who thinks camping is being able to see the trees from her hotel suite. LOL

Don't know if you're inpatient like me, but a great thing about Dutchwear is you'll most likely have it in a few days.

This is a fact, Dutch got me my double hex 1.6, fronkey net, and some custom straps to me less than a week...in Hawaii. But if you're not impatient I suppose it come down to whether you want an integrated bug net or separate one?

So true. I am in New York state and most of the time when I order from Dutch, I get it in about 3 days!
Aragorn: Gentlemen, we do not stop 'til nightfall.
    Pippin: What about breakfast?
    Aragorn: You've already had it.
Pippin: We've had one, yes. What about second breakfast?
