Looked like a great trip. I'm sure that water felt great.
So what was your route again? I was trying to follow in the video. Hunt Fish Falls to Gragg Prong falls to Timber ridge then ?
Thanks for posting the trip report. My son and I hiked through Hunt Fish Falls in late March following the MST and the water was much higher. It was nice to be able to show the rest of the family where we were at b/c our pics just didn't do the area justice.
amazing, I would like to hang by such river too very nice scenery, thanks for sharing.
Looks like a good time, beautiful area and a great trip! And, those orange Crocs are STYLIN Thanks for sharing =)
That's an awesome 1 nighter. Sure is some beautiful country up there and it would kick my butt with me coming from the flatlands.
That's on my bucket list to hike some mountains and see waterfalls and hang in that wonderful natural music by the streams. I sure did like seeing the rocks so nicely spaced across the stream. Pretty cool.
I know what you mean by weird being cold in July. I needed my UQ when I woke shivering a few weekends ago in the Florida Woods. What? Cold in Florida? In July? Yep, at the "No UQ Hang" at that.
Thanks for sharing your adventure.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you
Thanks for the report. I hope to be hiking there the end of August.
