    Hexon 1.6 DIY bridge hammock

I have a dark olive hexon 1.6 bridge hammock that I made recently, selling to experiment more. The hammock is based off of bic's design, but I changed the foot end cap and added shock cord for use with a 30 inch foot end spreader bar. It will accommodate up to a 6'5" person .The head spreader bar is 36 inches. The hammock has triple sewn edges on a 6 inch cat cut with 5/8 inch muletape and Dutch titanium bridge hammock ends. I did, however, sew one of the titanium ends on upside down. This functionally affects nothing at all, and it is on the head end so you can't see it anyway. There is also a dark olive colored sharpie mark on the foot end. Hammock comes with Dutch .665 spreader bars, a matching pole stuff sack, its own stuff sack, and red and orange dogbones for the suspension triangle. I'd like to get $90 shipped CONus. This hammock allows for more width than ridgerunner, but still maintains a good view. Plus you get to use a premium fabric in hexon 1.6 Great if you're thinking about trying a bridge hammock. Thanks!

What do you think the weight limit might be?
It's not the boulders that throw us off balance, it's the pebbles beneath our feet

The fabric itself should be good to about 350. I'm not 100% sure on the spreaders . I think you would be fine at 265 and probably more. There a quite a few heavy hangers out there using bridges. When I first made this I weighed about 245 with no problems what so ever. I weigh a little under 225 now so I use the mountainsmith trekking poles.

If you got the heavier spreader bars from Dutch (about 9 bucks total i think. ) You'd be good for #300 I would think
