Ran into this yesterday. It's a tarp with one side longer than the other to accommodate a bike. http://www.simplylightdesigns.com/ca...roducts_id/236

one thing i would suggest is to get proper touring tires and run them slightly over pressure. i used michelin pilot road 3's for my arctic circle trip in 2010, and was running them at 42/44psi front/rear. my buddy used the same tires, but had under inflated his and was running in the mid 30s. he needed new tires around 10k miles, and i could've gone another 2-3k miles on mine. i believe the higher pressure causes less wear on the tire. the micheline pilot road 3's easily last 12k miles (for me, your mileage may vary) if you go easy on the throttle with no hard/fast starts or passing maneuvers.

also, i'll send you a pm about a handy hammock stand i have that you may be interested in.

    Jealous. Lol.
Congrats on the wedding and best of luck on the trip. If you're in northeast Ohio/Northwest PA and need anything let me know.
