The 1000th "sewing webing loops" thread.

1" polyester webbing, need to sew loops.
What weight thread? I found many threads on "patterns" but none on thread weight?
I have Gutermann's 100% polyester sew-all thread from Jo-anns,, have no idea what weight it is,,
I would like to use a heavier thread, but still sew with my all metal 1960's consumer sewing machine.

Any ideas on a commonly available thread? (Jo-anns)

Most vendors use gutermann mara 70 and a size 12-14 needle I believe. It is available from most cottage vendors for sale as well.

Joanne's sells Guterman Upholstery thread which has worked well for me when I wanted tougher thread for certain applications.

Sew-all will be fine for this.

Don't over-think it.
