    I'm not sure Handyman enjoyed his night. Weather aside, looks like a nice spot to hang and camp.

    Mother nature has a way of teaching lessons! I even learned from watching- seam seal your tarps!

    When did this trip take place? Wow that was a lot of rain. Thanks for taking us along on the trip. Hopefully if you come back you will have better weather. What were the temps like during the trip?

    Thanks for sharing. Mcdill is a nice place, I have hiked through there multiple times but have only camped at the Cheaha falls area, Turnipseed, or Devils Den. Need to try camping up on the ridge sometime.

    Handyman here...was a rough night for sure! Was actually just giving Gadget a hard time since he sold me the tarp that leaked all night. Problem has since been solved with a good coating of seam sealer. It was our first time actually testing our equipment in severe weather. We both learned from this trip.
