    Ridgeline inside Ridgerunner bugnet?

Has anyone come up with an easy way to put a ridgeline on the Ridgerunner INSIDE the bugnet? "Easy" as in, no sewing or poking holes through anything. Yes, yes, I know the saddlebags are there. But, with a bunch of junk in the pockets it makes finding a specific item challenging in the dark. The ridgeline will be used for sunglasses that I don't want smooshed, headlamp, and me stinky ol' socks. (I don't want comments like "I don't see the point with the saddlebags.", or "I don't like having extra line to get tangled." That's great for if I was asking if I should put one in or not, but this is just to get information on HOW to do it.) Thanks!

Safety pins?? Run a small one through the screen and webbing. Unless you really cinch up the shock cord I have a feeling anything as heavy as a headlamp is going to sag down to your face. At least using the pins you can right one up temporarily to see how it works before you start poking holes or stitching.

That's not a bad idea. If the shock cord is nice and tight on the pull-outs, it could work nicely. Thanks!

The no sewing or poking holes is the tough part. My first idea was to put a little bag at the head end, like the bugnet bag that is at the foot end. But given your limitations, my idea is a no go

I mean, I CAN sew or poke holes, but I'm weary about voiding any warranties.

I've got nothing. I put my sun glasses in the top of my back pack and with two huge saddle bags I rarely have anything in the second one. I do wish I had a place to hang my LuminAID light though.

That sounds like a neat idea. Though if it was me, I'd promptly lose one of the magnets, probably as I was trying to get it attached.

Similarly, you could get a clip with a hook attached. Pinch a bit of the inside of the bugnet and attach the clip. It would probably only be good for lightweight stuff, but everything you listed might be light enough.

I was thinking specifically of a plastic clip, but this is the same basic design:

Go here, here and here for the sewn in version.

Do it right and no damage will happen that might result in a warranty issue.
