In the News - Yates Place Hang

At the last Yates Place Spring hang, a reporter from the local newspaper ( The Montgomery Herald ) stopped by and interviewed several hangers and took some photos of the hang. She told me she would mail me a copy of the new paper article when it made the paper. I kept checking and never saw anything so I figured the storey did not happen for some reason. Today I got a package and we made the front page. There are also an article in a Uwharrie Bound 2016 Guide that the newspaper published.

Don't think we could get him to come that far east in NC. Then again, it is a very long ways from Minnesota to pull a pig cooker. However, he might know someone here he could borrow one from! Hmmm!

Wow, I made the papers! I too thought it was forgotten, glad it wasn"t. I had forgotten what a good time I had there this year, this is a great reminder. Remember, beware of strangers bearing hatchets.
