    ^^Bike packing trip?

Good deal, I'll tinker around with the footbox also, although I've adjusted both it and the head end too. But, I'm sure that will all change until I find what works for me.

And my SRL is actually from Wildernesslogics, and it's a whoopie based SRL so it's super adjustable and easy to adjust. I like the idea of it since there's no pocket on the Lite Owl for things like a flashlight and such, so I can just clip it above me for easy access at night.

HaHa sure. Not all hammock hangers are hikers. Give me two wheels and a nice singletrack over hiking poles any day.

Ah, color me jealous. I love me some single track as well.

Also, my trip got cancelled last minute. Maybe this weekend though.

Varying the SRL is a useful and intelligent recourse for you with your hammock at this juncture. I'm 6'2" and in the past I've been able to add and adjust a SRL on a short, narrow hammock (9-1/2' x 60") to get a surprisingly comfortable lay. Good luck with yours...

I have a place to hang indoors, going to mess with the SRT and try out my pad in the pocket tonight and see what I can do. I have a trip planned for the long weekend also, so I guess one way or the other I'll find out if it's gonna work for me. Thanks for all the tips.

Play around with RL length and angle as others have said.
I use both Nite and Lite Owls with and without a RL. if the tree selection isn't perfect the RL is the only way I've found to make it tolerable.
The Lite Owl is my go to these days, but it took some tinkering.
