Hammock Hanging Newbie - Strung Right?

Got to try out my new WBBB-XLC this weekend... this would be the 3rd time now I've managed to sleep in it overnight.

I'm struggling to get to sleep initially... there's a lot of rolling around looking for that 'sweet spot'... I get up a few times to go to the bathroom and then sometime late in the middle of the night, I fall asleep and stay that way until about 8am. No soreness or anything so that's good. I'm just trying to debug things here to see if I've hung it correctly or the lay could be improved.

Question 1: How tight should the ridgeline be? I can twist it a 1/2 inch or so with my fingers so its not guitar-string tight but is this perhaps too loose?

Question 2: I know the footbox side should be higher than the head end but is this enough or should I go even more?

Question 3: My "30 degree" angle (using my thumb and index finger) hints that I may be more like 40 or so degrees on the head end but the trees were a bit close together. Should I tighten that closer to 30 degrees? (Note: that would have affected the ridgeline... right?)

Anything else that stands out as "Eh gad, what's that idiot doing?" that I should perhaps change? I get another couple of nights to sleep in it this weekend...

Note: Daughter in hammock is 5'5-. I'm 5'10- and about 180 lbs-

Ridgeline should be taut but not too tight.
How much to raise the foot end is a matter of personal preference.
The head end angle looks more than 30 probably as a result of the occupant being more towards the head end. You only get 30 on each side if the weight was right in the middle of the hammock.

Everything looks ok. Just need to tweak things which takes time.

30* angles are with no weight in the hammock. Try more sag and head end a little bit lower. The problem with having the ridgeline too loose is that your net will be droopy. Too tight RL will probably introduce calf ridge.

As mentioned by others RL should be tight but flexible. Your hang angles look good.
The getting to sleep part could be from sleeping somewhere other than your bed and not in your bedroom. Might just take a bit for the brain to take it all in and get used to it.
    Good luck and happy hangin.

I would definitely pick trees spaced out a couple more feet. I just feel like it hangs better when there's more suspension line than what you show here.

It looks fine to me. I never have been one to be extra picky. I usually lay down and if it feels right I am good to go. If not I will tighten or loosen until it does.
I usuall eyeball the 30 degree thing and I can usually see a slight bow in my RL. I've never had to do the feet higher thing with the XLC only the WBBB 10'
