Tacoma I'm sorry I cut you short--I need your help in learning to tie Zeppelin bend. I can tie it real slow--I think I saw you have a way to tie by wrapping around fingers.

The zeppelin bend, barrel knot, and EDK are my favorites now.

Well folks, it is a little less than 2 months until "Happy Days Are Here Again".

Over the last couple of years we have tried to minimize requesting donations for our auction from all the HF vendors since there are now so many group hangs doing auctions. So therefore, please think about donating any items to the auction that are sitting around drawing dust, i.e., lightly/slightly used, or heaven forbid something you bought and "never" used. We gladly accept DIY. Just bring the items with you and we'll put everything on display on Saturday evening. Please add anything you might bring to the sign in sheet.

However, I am working on a missive to our most gracious vendor community to see what goodies I can secure from them. Trying to get to those we did not tag last year.

    Thanks for your support.

I'll be bringing a few things to put into the raffle. I'll put them on the list as soon as I am sure what I'm bringing.

Yeah I am sure the HF vendors get swamped with request for donations. Since I have nothing to donate I will again just buy a HF vendor gift certificate (or two) to donate to the raffle.

No problem Porter. I also have some great snacks to go with the coffee that Hickery will be making.

Ok, MinnieSoda and I are bringing along two new folks, with a baby. John is a co-worker of mine. They have never hung and the wife is rather insistent on a tent. I am loaning them an old Teepee tent of mine and some other gear. If anyone can loan one cot it would be appreciated. They are a nice couple and, hopefully, after this they will be more open to hanging.

If it still works, I have one of those cots with the air mattress built in. Will pull it out this week and see if there are any leaks. IF good to go, Ill see if I can get it loaded with the rest of the "house" in my truck. Do you think the tent will fit on one of the newer tent pads at the group site????
