I think it will. The short Incubator is fine, but the shorter 30 will probably see some good use given the weather I typically hike in.

Just out of curiosity, what's the lead time on orders from HG? I know LL and UGQ have their lead times posted to their sites.

It's been around 2.5 weeks lately from what I can tell. Closer to 3 on my quilt back in June.

Oh okay. That ain't bad. Just trying to get a feel for about how long I should be waiting on an order to arrive once I place it (with whichever cottage vendor I end up going with. Haven't made a concrete decision on that just yet). I'd just like to have an UQ in hand before my next outing, so basically planning the trip around the order/delivery date. Temperatures are getting a bit too chilly around here for my current setup. Gotta get that upgrade so I can go out and play.

    I'm with Shug.

I've had my DIY partial UQ down in the 10's, and haven't been cold yet. I realize it's not his -42* that he talks about, but it's cold enough for me. I just throw a tiny piece of pad under my feet when necessary - only twice if memory serves.

The day I get cold is the day I'll buy a full UQ. Actually, that might not be true!

Well, just to update: The order has been placed as of late last night for a 20 degree 83" UGQ Zeppelin (standard fill). Site says the lead time is approximately 5 to 6 weeks, so we'll see how this one works out once it arrives. If for some reason this UQ doesn't work out for me, you'll know where to find it. Fingers crossed though.

I started out with my first UQ being a DIY Snugpak jungle blanket UQ. Im only 5'7 so its almost full length and what i used most of this past summer. In August I got the full length Snugpak UQ and even tho its heavier, I seemed to use it more since it fit my Henessy Expedition better. Last week I got my first down UQ, a JRB Winter Nest and have used it every night I've hung outside since I got it. Overall I prefer full length UQ's but since the jungle blanket UQ covers me from neck to feet and is thin its good for when I just need a little warmth underneath me. The other 2 are my favorites tho with the winter nest being #1.

I am waiting on my EE revolt in 75 " long. I was very happy with my rev so I went back to them. I just was unsure about the partial length at 6'4". O if it gets really cold you can put feet and TQ inside your pack for a little extra warmth.
