    If I don't cinch up the bottom it tends to touch the ground. But since I also treated it with permethrin bugs haven't been an issue.
    With regards to the Velcro, I've noticed some snagging on the bugnet. And since I used the lightweight no-see-um netting it's a little less durable. Is there an alternative to the Velcro that won't abuse the netting?

    I think the new trend is to use magnets.

    Just a thought...Would sewing in shock cord with a sinch work?
