    Ahh that's so much rope!!! but that does make sense to give me more head room. I didn't even think of that. I may give that a try is the side pulls aren't enough

    I have a DIY 12'x10.5', and what I find is that coverage depends on how deep the catenary cut is on the vertical sides closest to your heads. The reason -- being side by side, you're both not in the middle, so you actually only get a portion the tarps length, then that is reduced more when there is a cat-cut.
    I typically don't have a problem with a 12', but I could see a 11' tarp with deep cat-cuts being a problem, especially in any weather that comes at an angle.

    I think im going to go without the cat-cuts, im not to concerned with the perfect pitch just with coverage.
