Thanks, Gary. I do appreciate the change in date. I had a unmovable conflict come up and felt really awful that I wouldn't get to see everybuggy this time. I truly hope the shift one weekend forward won't mess folks up too bad.

It appears that the hang overlaps the peak of the Perseid Meteor shower.. There saying you can expect to see up to 150 'shooting stars' per hour when 2016’s best meteor shower peaks the night of August 11/12. Just another cool thing about not being in the city that weekend.

Going to try and get up there today to finishing framing the roof of the bathroom building. The shower is up and fully operational complete with hot water, so feel free to bring a towel.

In case you were wondering kids are welcome(there will be at least 2), dogs as well as long as you pick up after them and they behave. If you have friends that don't have hammocks but would like to come out, they are also more than welcome. We will be trying to keep it a low politics/low stress weekend.

FOOD:
There is a large stainless BBQ on site and there will be a barrel smoker as well. I will make sure there is also a stove of some sort. I have a few racks of ribs that I am bringing out to toss in the smoker.

Hope to see some new faces.
