    Robic owners...regrets?

Still mulling over fabric choices. Just got some swatches from the smurfs and the Robic is soooooo thin. This will be my first sl hammock and I am 175lbs. Would love to hear from some that have gone with robic sl hammocks if they would do it again. I know it is rated to 260, but I just cant wrap my head around how this thing is gonna support my weight! Would love some feedback. Thanks!

While a single layer does hold me at 350lbs I felt like I was testing ping fate.
I have no regrets with the dual layer it is some fantastic material

I'm 190 and a single layer of robic feels great to me. Go for it.

I am 205 and my Robic Freebird quickly became my favorite, regardless of weight.

I'm about 210 or so, Robic holds me just fine... that being said, it is evidently fairly fragile. Mine has some unexplained holes in it, as does my wife's. Both of us are WELL under the weight limit, we have never brought stabby bits into our hammocks, and we do the best we can to avoid undergrowth rubbing on the undersides of our setups. Still, we have holes. Small holes. And it still supports us. I don't have issue trusting the hammocks we have presently, to hold us up, but I won't use it again. I love the feel of the material and the breathability of it in warm weather. It's also very easy to work with. But as careful as I try to be with gear, I will use something a bit thicker/tougher next time.

I'm about 225 and my DIY Robic XL hammock is going strong after 5 nights in the woods. It feels very firm so far. Read some posts somewhere where people had found some kind of "stretch" or something somewhere on theirs. Haven't found any on mine yet.

I bought some ROBIC fabric but haven't built the hammock yet. The fabric seems fairly robust for 1.0. I'm not particulary worried about it since I only weigh 165 lbs.
