NEW VIDEO: Walking North - Views, Flags & Flies - Part 9

Leaving sterling Pond we work our way to Bear Hollow shelter barely beating the rain. The next morning we make our way to VT15, complete the car shuffle and part ways. From Noon on I am walking alone. Eventually I make my way to Round Top shelter then a late arrival at Corliss camp for the night.

These two days were filled with views, flags and flies. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for sharing Rob.. BTW is that an office chair I see at 3:02 .. laughing, people bring the strangest things on the trail. Although, I guess that it may be normal to have one of those at a ski lift?

I'd saved a couple of your trip reports this week to watch while I was helping my wife recover from knee replacement surgery. I'd sent you a note earlier asking about the LAD watch. I hadn't watched your chapter 9 of the LT hike. Looks like a handy device.

You paused about 6 PM on your last stretch of hike in a mountain cover. You asked if we could hear that. I'm guessing the wind was moving gently among the tree tops. The sound and the natural light can combine into something special. That last view from the top of Mount Laramie (sp?) was worth the climb.

    Thanks for taking us along.

Just wanted to quickly say that your videos make me want to explore some backpacking on the East Coast! Maybe more importantly they got me interested in the world of hammocks. Looking forward to seeing you finish the Long Trail!
