it doesn't matter which left/right side you lay. but when you get in do you keep your head near the front edge (where you entered from) and swing your feet over to the back? or vice versa?

after all this, I've tried it both ways. I don't have a hammock where it makes a difference like those with a footbox, etc. I was just wondering how other people do it...

I keep my head to the side I entered on and swing my feet to the opposite side...don't know why, just do it that way

I'm super lazy so I grab the hammock farside and back into it standing up and hold on to the close end with other hand and do the ''Southern Swing" entry, and a similar swinging dismount, and if not in a swinging mood I just back it up.

    1. Approach hammock on its right side.
    2. Grab left side of the hammock and lift it up, spreading it out.
    3. Twist body around and take a seat.
    4. Lift feet while swiveling around on knobby buttocks in a counter-clockwise motion one quarter turn.
    5. Rest head on the right side of the hammock while feet make their way to the left side.
    6. Realize you forgot your water bottle.
    7. Exit whichever direction/method works best for given area and terrain.
    8. Repeat process.
