    Holes in Robic?

A while back I ordered some Robic fabric to make hammocks for the wife and I. Got them made, used a few times and last weekend, we noticed a couple almost pinholes in mine. Almost seem more like runs in the fabric than holes, but there are several of varying size. Then we got curious and started looking over the wife's hammock. She has some too, although they do seem a little smaller. We have yet to make underquilts, so we have used them exclusively with inflatable pads. Has anyone had a similar experience with Robic or even other fabrics? I would like to think we are below the weight threshold for the fabric, so I don't believe we have put any undue stress on the fabric. I am fairly newish to hammocking, so I don't know if that can be considered somewhat normal or not. Don't have pics of the holes yet but could/should, soon.

I have some Robic XL 1.0 fabric but haven't made a hammock yet. I'll keep an eye on this thread out of curiosity.

What you have there looks like a possible weaving flaw. We try to screen out everything in the shop, but it is very difficult to catch everything. If you email [email protected] I will be happy to discuss and resolve this for you.

I got ahold of Justin. Just sent him a bunch of pics. Not really looking for replacement, unless it's material defect. Mostly seeking advice on how to seal it to keep it from spreading and if it's a somewhat common thing with this or other fabrics.

For the record, your products and service is top notch! I love doing business with you guys!

Ah yes, I should've mentioned you guys were awesome and already sent me a replacement! The new fabric was free of defects and is amazing! I love my Robic hammock =)

BillyGoat: My fabric arrived with this little defect, but it sounds like yours happened after a couple hangs. I weight 170lb and have not noticed any wear on my new fabric.
