My son and I were hoping to find someone to hike with us and do a car drop, we haven't had any luck. So now we're looking for a shuttle from the NOC to Winding Stair Gap Saturday morning. Anyone have any leads on one, and how much?

Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.
There are times that the only way you can do something is to do it alone.
There's an outfitter at NOC that likely has a list.
"I wonder if anyone else has an ear so tuned and sharpened as I have, to detect the music, not of the spheres, but of earth, subtleties of major and minor chord that the wind strikes upon the tree branches. Have you ever heard the earth breathe... ?"

Also just ran across this list from the ATC from August of last year:

Ron Brown shuttled me from Amicalola to Hogpen Gap. He said he covers from Springer to Fontana dam.
Bartram, Benton Mcay, Pinholti Trail, and a few others along with the AT. Very cool guy.
Look at the ATC website. They have an extensive list that covers the whole AT.
