I made a simplified version of this bag, without the mesh compartments.
It's not for bling, but for storing bits of cord. A regular bag filled with bits of cord has a problem - the cord you want is always at the bottom, and you have to tip all the cord out to get it.
This bag opens out into a shallow dish, allowing you to poke around and find what you want without tipping everything out.
Are there any other use-cases for this sort of bag?
(My sewing skills are rudimentary. Hemming a circle seemed too much of a challenge, so I made this an octagon, based on a 40 cm square, and thus only had to deal with hemming straight lines. The channel for the cord is a separate piece of cloth, the same length as the perimeter of the octagon. It was tricky to sew this on to the main section of the bag at each of the octagon's corners. It's not neat, but it seems strong enough.)
Pretty sure that's a whipping knot. Some use them on soft shackles to close the loop.

This is a lot like a toy bag that my sister got for us when my son was born. It's a single flat piece of round fabric that's about 4-5' in diameter when opened up. The idea is that you can spread toys out on it for playtime, and then clean up just by pushing everything back onto the mat and pulling the cord tight.
It works well for that purpose. I guess if you wanted to quickly access or at least see all of your loose cordage and bling at once, and then put it away just as quickly, it would be good for that.
I can't see a reason to carry one around, though.
These [Eliza's]will be going back into production soon.... new and improved.
We will be "Itzgr8outdoors Gear Specialties" since there will be more on offer than just the BlingBags

I use a similar bag for my fire kit... everything inside is in ziploc bags but it is so much easier to find stuff than in a standard stuff sack..
I made mine from DCF.
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....
