We had Buffalo Outdoor Center show up with the canoe. Highly, highly recommend them as they were very accommodating even though our itinerary and pick up location changed mid trip. One thing to note is that at the main campsites located along the trail, Ozark, Kyles Landing, ect....they had landline phones at the restrooms that had a direct line to the local outfitters, free of charge. This is wonderful as cell reception is pretty much nonexistent.
Music is titled "Old Pine" by Ben Howard and even thought I have listened to it literally a hundred times while making the video, I still really like the song.
loved the video thanks for taking us along
Nice video. I've canoed the Buffalo, First year we went in at Tyler bend and out at the White River. REMOTE. Only two camp area's that I remember and no phone. The other year we went in at Kyle's landing and out at Tyler Bend. I do remember phones in those "up river" camp areas. They also had camp sights, bathrooms, running water. At our last night, we were at Wollum, and NO PHONE lines! And, we'd had a torrent of rain, the river was up about 6 inches and had pushed us down faster. So instead of being at Tyler around 3 which is when we'd arranged our truck to be parked at the take out point, it would be more like noon. So we needed to call the outfitter to have our truck delivered 3 hours early. Took about 15 minutes to get a cell signal! We'd had the same trouble the year before at Buffalo City (where the Buffalo hits the White). We'd thought no cell at Buffalo City was......interesting!

Beautiful area. Did you pack to an outfitter and then grab the boats?
Good times.
