Last weekend I took a stab at making a DIY Top Quilt for myself... I've NEVER sewn anything a day in my life but I figured, how hard could it be? - It was HARD.
In the end it turned out pretty well and I'm extremely proud that I pulled this one out but I have a lingering question. Should I get some seam seeler to help water proof the quilt and help my rookie seems out a little? Does anyone seam seel their Top Quilt?
Here are the specs:
karo step baffling
1.1oz Diamond Ripstop Nylon
.5oz no seeum baffles. 6'' long x 2'' tall
12oz 850 fill power down
48" wide
78" long
Any and all help is MUCH appreciated!
Thanks!
