Once again, a beautiful well thought out design. Glad to see the juices are still flowing and the newbies again get a chance to see what made this style of camping so easy to follow. Thanks for showing us the Ariel.

I currently have a Fronkey Style bugnet and I've been thinking about making a removable 1/2 bugnet for my gathered end without sewing in buttons or Velcro or adding tabs. If I may use the design, what name would suffice this removable style net? Grizznet? Grizz 1/2net? Grizz Style 1/2net?

Perfect name for your net!!! Love seeing the cranium flying with new innovative ideas! I like the knots! And the bobbin idea is something else.
Thanks for sharing this and will enjoy watching persons making their own.
Makes me want to figure out how to use that thread injector thing.

The magnets I have had two ratings, a marketing one and a scientific one.
The marketing one rated it 10 on a scale of 10 (a really marketing guy would have rated it 11 out of 10 like a guitar amplifer).
The scientific one is 2860 gauss. You can find gauss ratings on the K&J site.

Thanks, I don't think it would have occurred to me except for the suggestion of GrizzNet .... GaussNet .... that's an attractive name!

I learned to sew so that I could follow DIY bridge instructions that TeeDee was putting out. Worth the effort.

i really love this bugnet magnet idea... i wonder if the material is going to "wear through" from the magnets or does the grograin protect it from that

You explain the spyderwire, but was there any particular reason to use the enduron for the ridge line over the more traditional Lash-it?
Also, are you sure about that name? I'm having a hard time finding it.
