I had the pleasure of hiking a section of the Foothills Trail for three days at the beginning of April. It was beautiful. I intend to go back and finish it in sections. I don't move as fast as the two of you since I'm pushing 69 next month. Thanks for the videos and the great report. Happy birthday.

Don't argue with the alligator until after you cross the river.

Thanks hickery and shug for sharing the adventure, I really enjoy following along. Such a beautiful trail! I hiked the FHT going the other direction (E>W) in late Feb/early March of this year, and had a great time. Looks like they've cleaned up a lot of portions of the trail, especially the chattooga river section - there were probably 30+ blown-down rhodos down there, then it started snowing for more fun Some photos

    And shug, happy belated birthday!

Yes, thanks for sharing. I love the Maple King. The web site is down though I about lost it on those outtakes. Shug and Hickory keep doing what you do as we all appreciate the laughs.

Another Good'un! Sure am glad you all were there for Jeremy after that fall. That he's still with us is miraculous. Yes, looks like the Gorge is no place to go solo. Did the Maple King ever eat those pork brains in milk gravy?

Another fun trip with the Hickory bros. Put it on the tv in auto play and me and the kiddoroooos watched all of it strait through together yesterday. Happy birthday to both y'all.

Just got a chance to watch them all the way through. Glad to see the reappearance of pork brains in milk gravy. Mmmmm.
