I want a small piece of Tyvex to put under the Hammock like a door mat so I don't get my feet dirty. Only way I can find it around here is by the roll, and I don't need enough to wrap a house in. Anyone know where I can find a small piece?

Like thrash metal? Check out my nephew's band, Deathwatch. He's an amazing drummer... https://soundcloud.com/user-660860695
Check at a local house getting built. The workers may have a small piece that will get thrown away.

Or any construction site dumpster, ask first and when you tell them what you want it for they might even find an end roll for you Wash it in cold water a couple of times and you are good to go.
Don't limit yourself to tyvek. I stopped by a construction the other day and found a piece of green woven like house wrap. Works great. I cut it to size with a soldering iron.

I would rather be in the woods... my dog would rather be in the pool. My wife thinks we are both nuts.
I carry a large regular ol' black trash bag and lay it on the ground next to my hammock to put my boots and backpack on and to poise my bare feet on when exited the hammock. That way, if I need a large plastic bag for something on the hike, I have one.
Next time you order something from one of our fine cottage vendors, it'll probably come in a Tyvek mailing bag. Cut it open along three sides and unfold for a smallish but very serviceable Tyvek ground cloth. Yes, it's washable.
Good luck!!!

Surely, God could have made a better way to sleep.
Surely, God never did.
I wash mine two or three times in a washing machine, no soap. It softens it and makes it less noisy. Do not dry it, though. I am pretty sure dryer heat would melt it into a mess.
Homer: Sir, I need to know where I can get some business hammocks.
Hank Scorpio: Hammocks? My goodness, what an idea. Why didn't I think of that? Hammocks!
Washing Tyvek to soften it is unnecessary. Just crumple it up, twist it up give it a bit of abuse and it will be soft in a fraction of the time required to run a wash cycle.
