Big Hart Campground 5258 Washington Rd, Thomson, GA is located on beautiful J. Strom Thurmond Lake. We will be camping in the private Group Campsite area. It features 7 electric and water hook-up sites, a covered pavilion with picnic tables and a large grill, a bathhouse with flush toilets and showers, a private gated entrance, tons of trees, a boat ramp with swimming area and a panoramic view of the lake. The campground is a conveniently located close to I-20 near the GA/SC border.
This hang is being hosted by Baja in conjunction with PSH and will serve as our Swamp Butt hang this year. Due to the more than typical expense for this campsite, we will be covering the cost as follows:
Costs:
$10/person for the weekend
(PSH will cover $5 per supporting member in attendance with the member donating the additional $5)
$20 for RVs/Travel Trailers up to 7 (MUST reserve these spots with Baja (Cali) - Sue Miller)
As Swamp Butt, PSH officer elections will be held at this hang.
Pop Up shelters and electric fans would be helpful. Hopefully, there will be a nice breeze coming off the lake.
No early arrivals. The campsite is reserved for Friday and Saturday nights ONLY. If someone wishes to arrive early, a regular campsite may be reserved in the regular campground.
