Bought a DD hammock but no trees.

Just bought a DD superlight jungle hammock for my trips with the motorbike. But as soon as the hammock was deliverd I wanted to put it up.The only trees I have are on either side of the road.So hanging my hammock high enough so trucks could pass beneath me was not a good idea.I had some timber laying around and three hours later I could lay down.

The max span is 3.4 meter. The hammock is 2.70.

Trees plenty in Drenthe but not in my garden. The Jonathan Gold and the Grieser Wildeman still need to grow.

    Good job.
Now you can rest, nap, and watch your trees grow.

    Problem solved!!! Good for you.

BTW, I posted an AT hike last September and a young man from Netherlands came over and hiked with us a few days!

Nice stand! I wish I had enough timber lying around to built things like that.

Lol, first thing I did was check the pics and thought to myself: 'those pictures weren't taken in the US. Looks EU' And then I noticed your location. Hi from Tilburg

Nice stand! I have enough timber to build one, but I'll just use the chessnut tree and my kid's playground to hang from
