Posting in for sale section?

I was curious why I can't post in the for sale section? Id like to sell my hammock that was purchased here from a fellow forum member. I don't use the Internet much. I kind of live my life without tvs, computers and all the crazy stuff that goes along with it. If I can't post there, what would be a good suggested place to post it?

Read the For Sale section Rules....there are a few of them. Top of the list is you have to have a minimum of 50 posts to participate in the selling side of the For Sale.

I don't think you need minimum posts to reply to Want to Buy posts, so watch them closely. Otherwise, WhiteBlaze is a fairly active forum and they waive their minimum post rules if you make a donation ($10 minimum).

Oh, I see. Guess some enjoy playing on the computer all the time making posts and not. It would take me awhile to get to fifty posts.

I remember when I wanted to sell something but the 50 post rule was in my way. It didn't take me long to get 50 when I really wanted to...

But please don't be foolish enough to "bloat" your post count with quick..thank you, OMG that is nice, wish I had that type of posts. We MOD types look for that and will remove your post counts.

We want to get to know you and you to know us before you start selling items here as this forum is about the sharing of information and not the buying/selling of items.

I've had good luck on Craigslist and eBay.
