Are pets allowed?? Never go backpacking without my hiking buddy. Wife may be able to make it also.

Pets are allowed in all U.S. National Forests, but must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet at all times while in developed recreation areas and on interpretive trails.

I wonder what they consider an interpretive trail? I'd keep it leashed near the parking and trailhead, should be ok where we are camping as long as the dog doesn't wonder, again as long as no one else has an issue with a dog at camp.
Good find CF, I was lookinh at the brochures I got at yhe ranger station for rules, but nothing was mentioned

I think they have educational/informational signs along the trail about that particular area, its history etc..
I saw you had a fishing video up. How did you guys make out? My brother and I fished the Clarion down around Portland Mills / Arroyo and didn't catch anything. Caught one fish Sunday on Little Toby.
Awesome! I am looking forward to this. I will be leaving fairly early on the 31st, as it is my son's birthday. Perrito, you should come! It will be fun!
