We are still on for it, but have scouting for food that Saturday morning, so won't be able to hike in with everyone. Should be there around 1400 or so.

Super stoked for this hang! Going to be trying out some new gear as well as a new pack that I made last week. Are we going to do any type of contest or giveaway? I will bring some giveaways but I need a final count so I know what to bring.

I'm gonna be trying out a Robic tarp beak (somewhat concerned that it could be somewhere around just less than useless, but I've got the bones from a failed hammock laying around) and likely testing the limits of the costco underquilts I made. Pretty jazzed up about all that. Only slightly concerned about the kids warmth situation. Will have pads for them, if necessary, though.

So, just a bit over a week out. Of course weather can change but for now they're projecting ideal hiking/camping weather:

I can bring extra quilts if anyone needs/wants them as back up for themselves or any of the kids. I have a full length 20 degree set and then a 40 degree 3/4 bottom quilt that can be layered with something else. I believe I also have a 20 degree 3/4 under quilt. Finally, I have a Marmot 30 degree down sleeping bag.

If you want to borrow one, please let me know and I'll bring it with me in the car; you can pack it to the camp

Someone asked if there will be a fire; the answer is YES! Those of us getting there early can collect/process wood.
