I-10 AZ and TX spots to hang?

I am traveling from Central California to East Texas in June via motorcycle. The first night I plan to be somewhere along I-10 in western Arizona probably near Quartzsite. Yes, I have been through Quartzsite. I know it will be hot and I know there are only two trees not in an RV park there and they are 75 miles apart.

The second night will be along I-10 somewhere near Fort Stockton, TX. It is hot there as well.

My return trip will be via I-40 and not quite as hurried.

I would appreciate any tips for places to hang in/near those two locations. Trees would be great (I know, not in Quartzsite) or possibly state run campgrounds with covered picnic tables. I have hung from power poles and their guy lines, fence corners, and other equally undesirable locations but that was never on my bike. I have contacted several RV parks and one KOA and none of them have a place for a hammock. I do a lot of desert hanging but these days I take my Hammeck stand. That won't work for this trip.

Check out a new hiking pole stand from a member here name 'raftingtigger'. She has a thread in the Other Vendors section. I have not tried them, but if I were making the same trip as you, they would interest me... The thread has fallen to the 2nd page.

I've driven thru west TX many times including Ft. Stockton. There are probably trees somewhere, but I sure don't remember driving by a place out there saying, "wow, what a grest place to hang. "
