IMPOSSIBLE JUST TAKES LONGER
Interesting...
Looks like he almost created a new class of criminals... Until this...
An object of this invention is to improve the warmth and comfort of a hammock having a bottom entrance slit, without interfering with a person's ability to enter or exit the hammock.
Now, I'm gonna make one just because...

Sounds a lot like prior art...even (in the written description at least) attaching the underquilt with velcro like Speer's universal attachment, or the JRB Nest when it mentions not interfering with the entrance. But pulling panels across sounds like he wants it to be easily adjustable. Surely he wouldn't patent something that was already in the public domain.
Wonder who has tested this for him...would be interested in seeing how he executes the project. Wonder how much it will weigh, too.

The reference to an insulation system of open-celled foam is interesting. That's not a very efficient way to keep the buns toasty.
.. truly to enjoy bodily warmth, some small part of you must be cold, for there is no quality in this world that is not what it is merely by contrast. Nothing exists in itself. If you flatter yourself that you are all over comfortable, and have been so a long time, then you cannot be said to be comfortable any more. - Herman Melville
His SuperShelter uses an OCF pad inside the silnylon. Not very durable but it works, and keeps the cost much lower than using down.
