I sent that from the hammock. I spent 3 hours in the same position without pain. I have t been able to do that for a long time in any position, on a bed, etc.

Thank you for the info. I had seen the SPE on Shug's videos and read about it in "The Ultimate Hang". My intention for the pad is to get me until I can afford an under quilt. I just put out $500 for the hammock, bugnet, tarp, pads, and some other camping gear. Quilts are definitely on the shopping list. But, I have to take my better half to Hawaii, and that's a budget I can't eat into for camping.

I've been lucky to get a bit of my gear from goodwill. Internal frame packs and such. As well as make a few fancy feast stoves and other items. When my ankle heels, Or maybe sooner, I'll try an overnight.
