    Question Hammocking Indoors

What is the absolute cheapest way to hang a hammock indoors. I find stands seem to be quite expensive and take up quite a bit of space, there must be an alternative that is more economical. Hanging hooks on studs in the wall maybe? Would that support the weight?

Definitely a natural fabric hammock, like a brazilian. This is what I have been using for a while:

But be warned, this is a very long hammock, so make sure you have enough wall-to-wall space. It will NOT fit most stands. There are other fine brazilian hammocks that are not as long. Pair that with a summer-weight underquilt and you're ready to go. I use my 30° UQ loosely-fitted and it works fine.

i use one of dutch's hexon 1.0 indoors on a pipe stand frame. frame is about $100 from the big box hardware stores, and they cut and thread it there for free. worth it. still cheaper than a new bed.
