Pro's -
Does a good job at providing protection for rain, wind, bugs, and gear.
Simple to set up.

Con's -
As a single integrated unit, you are carrying that stuff whether you need it or not.
Not light-weight and not flexible to pick and choose what you need for the trail or the weather.
