Do you have one where Brock didn't put his hand up in front of my face?

    Hey guys,

I enjoyed my time with the forum at the hang. Being a sorta newb to hammocks, I got to spend time conversing about if my hammock looked right. It was also a ton of fun trying and laughing to put up my scrap stash into a hammock for my freind. Someone lent us some loops. Two more people showed up to help figure out how to hang the tarp, and hammock.

I met nutmeg, and found out how close each other lives. A easy 30-40 min drive from a new freind that likes the same hobbies as I do. Woot! Woot!

Food was great! Company was entertaining. The only thing I feel that should be a little different is: signs. We almost missed breakfast because we weren't sure where it was. There was also a lack of schedule. We basically had to ask, and look around for groups of people.

Alas, we did figure everything out. Asking people made us have to climb out of our shy shell to talk to other people.

Just a side note: I was toasty warm on the second night. My freind in my red sleeping bag pod set up said she got a little cold before she woke up in the morning. I also don't know if she will be a convert. She's a belly sleeper and found the lack of movement suffocating.

Here's my videos: The hang helped me figure out how to edit as well before my section hike on the AT this coming may.

Haha, We were the cackle duo. Non-stop laughing, joking, and talking. Mostly because I was in the process of a coffee ween.

I will be going to more hangs in the future. Not sure on the fall, but def the next spring. Judy may just be dragged out for the heck of it.

Nope. It was taken after dinner so you know I was onsite.

I'm standing in the back next to 2 of my nephews behind Mr Traffic Cone aka D-Meck aka Married-Up aka Meckie. Would you believe he traded a mouse pad for that orange hat? I was there, I saw it.

A couple folks did ask after you.

Thanks to everyone who posted the pics and videos!

Had a great time at MAHHA, will definitely be going again, hopefully in the fall! It was great to meet new people who love to hammock, as most of my friends/ coworkers think I'm crazy!
