    DoubleNest vs DoubleNest Deluxe

I just bought two DoubleNests (one for outside, one for inside). Haven't gotten them yet, but I'm wondering if I should have gotten the deluxe.

I plan on sleeping in the one for inside, with the occasional nap/rest with my girlfriend.

We are both around 130 pounds.

Would the regular doublenest be big enough for both of us to lay/sleep in?

(I know I should have asked this before. I honestly didn't even know the deluxe existed until today)

    Thanks!

My wife and I have both napped in the DoubleNest. I've wondered about the deluxe too.

We are both substantially larger than you. Keep in mind that the physics sort of crush you together, so staying comfortable long term isn't really possible, but cuddling for a bit works just fine =)

I doubt it matters which one you get - after 15 minutes you'll probably be miserable. ENO markets the heck out of their hammock-for-two concept, but it's just a marketing concept. The reality is that only Clark actually makes a hammock-for-two, the Vertex, but it will cost an arm and a leg, weigh over 5 lbs., and require three trees to hang.

None of our cottage vendors market or sell a hammock-for-two, so that gives you an idea of the viability of the idea.

Laying in a hammock with another person is fun for about 5 minutes, then you're so sore and sweaty, it's miserable.

An ENO doublenest, in my opinion, is already too wide. If you got the deluxe, it would be crazy wide. Keep in mind, once you're in it (especially with 2 people), you'll just be towards the center mostly. The extra fabric of the ultra wide deluxe would just be flapping around, not serving any purpose.

Every day is a good day.
