Custom embroidered labels?

Has anyone ever considered adding custom tags for their DIY gear? I am making my stuff for a whole family, and the occasional friend, and thought it would be kinda neat to have custom tags to attach to the gear I make. Has anyone ever thought of/done this? If so, where did you get your tags from? I can only find places that have a minimum order quantity of 100 pieces at $1 a piece. I seriously doubt that I will make 100 of anything but if I could find some place to get 25 or so? That would be pretty slick, I think.

But maybe it is possible that you would make 100 of something? Even if it were 75 of something it would be cool!

I use wunderlabel. I get the printed ones instead of woven just because they are a little cheaper. Then I sew them onto a price of grosgrain before adding to my gear. I think they have a 25 piece minimum.

I know a lot of folks that make lots of stuff... nobody I kow has a cnc sewing machine. Of I could justify the cost I might get one.

Yep,
I have my own design,digitized and stitched myself but I'm a pro embroiderer.
Its far to expensive to pay someone to do it for you.
Stick with custom woven or printed labels and sew them on.
100 of these labels will cost you about the same as 2 embroidered labels of around 4000 stitches.
Some even charge more for colour changes too
