Need quick shipping tree strap options...

I think this is the correct subforum?

We are going on vacation next week (well, leaving early early Sat AM) and I just realized that the kids don't have straps for their hammocks! I just used the included rope on our cedars so they could try them out before investing in anything else... I do have Amazon Prime so I can order through there, but not sure what the best option is. I am A-OK with knots so the pre sewn looped ones aren't a necessity (I have been trying one, but can't remember the name of it. After seeing it mentioned multiple times, I can't find it now! It's just a quick twist (leaving a loop), then flip it up, grab the main line coming off of the tree through the loop, and clip to that.)

I need inexpensive since I will be getting 4 sets. I found some looped ones (similar to Atlas straps) on Amazon for $16... whatever it is obviously needs to be an instore purchase, or ship fast since I will need to it be here (NC) by Friday at the latest. I really don't want to drop $120 on Altlas straps (or worse, slap straps) since that is pretty much all I can find in the brick and mortar stores near us.

Worse case scenario, if you can't get straps shipped to you.

Walmart sells cargo straps, set of 2 at 12' each for $6 in the blue tarp/camping section. They are 200 safe working limit. I cut these to get 2 6' sections and have been using them for 5+ years now on same straps. These come with a cam buckle so can be used as is at 12' until you get a permanent strap. I removed the cam and sewed a loop on the ends.

They are black tie down straps and I bought some in green(their camo version) a few months ago. Also sell in Walmarts rope/chain section in blue.

*edit* For reference, I weigh 195-200 lbs. There is some wear, but only a little after 5 years. Always check suspension before and after attaching to anchor points(trees, columns, etc) before and after every trip.

Dutchware should work! Although the ratchet straps sure are tempting... I wasn't sure how much stretch they would have compared to the actual hammock straps.

The last set I bought was from Gary ( @RSGary on here)at readystrap. Shipping was pretty quick. No problems.

Poly straps. They have a little stretch only. I haven't noticed any overnight stretch after my initial loading. In the morning, I'm still at the same height as when I got in.

Dutch probably already shipped you the straps as you were typing your question here on the forums. That's how fast his shipping is.

I believe I saw spools of webbing at Scheels with the climbing gear. Some nylon and some poly. If u have a Scheels I'm sure it's at a good price.

I have never heard of that store so I guess it's probably regional??

Just ordered 4 sets from Dutch with the note to let me know if he didn't think they would get here on time... At least we're both on the east coast. DH priced ratchet straps at Lowes (Hardware) and it was more cost effective to just order the straps - not to mention we have so much else to do this week it would be one less thing (having to modify them).
