I love the Meck family, and I'm excited for you all that there are wonderful things happening. I know it's sad you have to halt the business aspect right now, but family comes first. I think ya'll will work something out for the future of the Hammeck business. I'm really hoping this will mean ya'll will have more time to come to hangs in NC. By the way, I'm glad you are only going as far as Pittsburgh David. I would have hated for you two to get too far from home.

Hey Hotlips, we love you guys, too! Mom and Dad will definitely be there in two weeks, unfortunately Beth and I cannot make it. :/ We'll only be a little over 4 hours from home, so not too far.

As a family on the other side of residency, I don't envy you. You're in for a rough time. But love and patience will see you through. Be there for her at the end of those Q3-4 rotations. Find the simple ways to encourage her. And if you ever need to talk to someone about what it's like to quit your job and move to support your wife through this time, let me know.
