Nice demo. I used some to make a water resistant zipper pouch based on your tutorial, used it for tarp reinforcement, and I'm incorporating some into a backpack project. Haven't found the limit yet!

PapaSmurf, how does Hex70 XL compare with Hexon 1.6 and does it come in 72 width?

It comes in 67.5 inch wides roll, and is more comparable to the hexon 2.4, as it is 2.2 oz square yard. The hexon 2.4 is softer imo, with similar stretch properties. Hex70 seems more durable, and abrasive resistant, and has a great dwr. Compared with hexon 1.6, the hex70 holds much more weight, has less stretch, and is more durable, but nowhere near as soft.

Couldn't resist, because I love fabric. If you have anything to add, or a different opinion, feel free. Didn't mean to overstep my boundaries into your realm my friend.

    Nope, thank you very much.
We don't use Hexon so I can't (and shouldn't) offer a knowledgeable comparison.
